Kentucky Writers on the Road July Stop: Salt River Local Arts Collaborative

On Saturday, July 26th from 1:00-3:00 p.m., the James Baker Hall Foundation will be working with the Collaborative to present Roots & Rising at From the Ground Up Books in Shepherdsville. Featured will be our 2024 Book Award winner, Wesley Houp, reading from his book of poetry, Strung Out Along the Endless Branch. Wes will be joined by the 2023 (and first) Kentucky Youth Poet Laureate, Amy Roblero Perez, who will also be sharing her work.
